Following the presentation they participated in a panel discussion along with Representatives Jeff Flake (R-AZ), and Representative Thad McCtter (R-MI) on “Is the GOP Still Lost?” (Short answer: Yes.)

Minutes before the presentation, Mitt Romney had announced he was bowing out of the race to prevent his campaing from allowing an Obama or Hillary win in the upcoming presidential race.

PhotobucketSenator DeMint endorsed McCain, as a former Romney supporter, and reiterated that McCain is now the conservatives’ only chance to keep Obama or Hillary out of the White House. He said conservatives spent too much time during this election season criticizing McCain instad of rallying around a conservative candidate. He said that as President, McCain will do the right thing, or he will have to answer to DeMint and Coburn.

Coburn lamented conseratives have lost sight of the values that made our country great, and stated that the people need to hold their elected officials responsible for upholding these values. He said,

The principles we stand on..are the principles that bring us to victory, and secure our nation…and our heritage.
