New Editor at OKPNS – Jenn Sierra

February 1, 2008

Greetings! Chris, at Oklahoma Public News Service has been kind enough to agree to let me hang out here for a while, so I thought I’d introduce myself. I discovered blogging about a year and a half ago, and have been blogging politically at the national level during that time. However, I have recently come to realize that the most important level of politics is the local level – where we actually live.

It is here that we are able to talk to our family, neighbors, friends, business associates and fellow community members about what is going on in our world, and actually work together with those folks to do something about it. It is here that we vote on our issues and candidates. I have lived in Tulsa, OK for most of the last 25 years, and it is here that I am happy to help get the news out about the issues that are important to Oklahomans.
